Religious Formation
In defining the purpose of religious formation, the National Catechetical Directory states “to make a person’s faith become living, conscious, and active, through the light of instruction.” The catechists of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton strive to nurture the faith of our children by presenting Catholic doctrine based on the four pillars of the Church. The presentations include group instruction based on the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton written curriculum. It also includes experiences that reinforce the instruction and relate to life experiences. |
