Building a Just Society

Speaker: Joseph Tumasian
Join us Sunday afternoons!

How do disciples build a just society?

Joseph Tumasian, parishioner and former Theology professor joins us once again. This time with a different topic. In two separate sessions, Tumasian will help us understand authentic Catholic social doctrine.

As disciples of Jesus Christ we are called to live holy lives and to help build a just society—God’s Kingdom here on earth! For guidance we turn to the rich treasury of our Catholic Tradition. Church teachings, including Papal documents, reflect seven key principles of Catholic social teaching.

June 4: Catholic Social Doctrine - What it is and How and Why it Developed.

June 11: The Principles of Catholic Social Doctrine and Their Application
Time/Place: 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm, Ministry Rooms
