Religious Education Formation Logo

According to the National Directory for Catehesis, the fundamental task of Catechesis is the formation of disiples of Jesus Christ.  "Jesus instructed hs disciples; he prayed with them; he showed them how to live; and he gave them his mission... Faith must be celebratd, lived, and expressed in prayer.

Religious Formaton at St. Elizabeth Seton is designed based on this model of Catechesis. Classes meet troughout the school year for children ages 3 through High Scool.  The presentations include group instruction based on the curriculum of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.  It also includes experiences that reinforce the instruction and relate to life experiences.

It is expected that children participate in both Religious Formation and Sunday Mass.
