Seton Summer Series

The Seton Summer Series is a week long summer program that gives children a Catholic experience of community, service and faith. The theme for 2017 is Maker Fun Factory:  Created by God, Built for a Purpose. Children are assigned in mixed-age groups with other children that are entering Kindergarten through Grade 3. 4th and 5th Graders are in their own “preteen” grouping and Preschoolers aged 4 and 5 will be placed in a separate preschool program.

The Seton Summer Series will be held the week of June 12-16, 2017 from 9:00 AM until Noon. Online registration will open on January 11th, 2017.

Each year, over 100 volunteers are needed to be Crew Leaders, Station Leaders and station volunteers in skits, crafts, snacks, games, nursery, decorations and floaters. Both adult and youth volunteers are needed! Youth volunteers must be entering 6th Grade or older. Online Safe & Sacred Diocesan training is required for all volunteers that are 18 years of age or older. Sign up for volunteers is now open!

Donations are also needed for the week! Please sign up to donate items!

Please contact Kristen Swift at 816-0045 ext. 113 with any questions.

Totus Tuus

In addition to Seton Summer Series, we will be hosting a program called Totus Tuus this summer that will be held July 9-13. The goal for this program is for young people going into grades 1-12 to experience their faith in real tangible ways as a community through Catechetical Instruction, Christian Witness, Vocational Discernment, Marian Devotion and Eucharistic Worship. Grades 1-6 meet from 9 am-2:30 pm Monday-Friday and Grades 7-12 meet from 7-9 pm Sunday-Thursday. Registration will open on January 11, 2017.  Contact Greg Fleckenstein with any questions.

CRUX Diocesan Retreat

Join other young men or young women going into 6th, 7th or 8th grades from around the diocese for an ADVENTUROUS THREE DAYS in our outdoor wonderland, as we explore what it means to live fully alive as sons or daughters of God!  CRUX is facilitated by the Office for Vocations at Oakbrook Valley Camp.
