Gift of Water

St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Carmel, Indiana has started a clean water program called the Gift of Water. Through the continuing generosity of caring individuals, we can all make a difference by helping to provide clean drinking water for our brothers and sisters in Haiti.

The World Health Organization estimates that 80% of diseases in third world countries are caused by bad drinking water. Children continue to die from severe diarrhea, and the general Haitian population has many serious health problems associated with drinking contaminated  water.
